Video: install ego (lite)

Install ego (lite) on Windows and finish setup before you give your agent a browser task. Review any browser import options during setup, then check whether ego-browser is available in your agent. The agent can work on sites where you are signed in to ego (lite).

Download and install

1. Download ego (lite) for Windows using the button above.
2. Run the installer and follow the instructions on screen.
3. Open ego (lite) and finish the setup steps.

If setup offers browser import, select the profile you want to use and review what will be copied before confirming. Follow any permission requests shown during the import. You can also sign in to sites directly in ego (lite).

Connect your agent

Open Codex or Claude Code and check whether ego-browser appears in its skill list. If it does, select it when you start a task. If it does not, close and reopen the agent after ego (lite) setup, then check again. Review any request to run ego-browser or open ego (lite) before continuing.
